Sevenly Puns

(You can make this cartoon big and pretty by clicking on the second violinist's hair bun.)

Bizarro is brought to you today by Puns.

I'm off to Woodstock in a few minutes for our June Jamboree, so I don't have much time. Here is the seventh of my Sunday Punnies series. If you want to see your pun in the paper, send it to me via email (see for addy) or leave it in the comments section of one of my blog posts. It must be original – I don't want to do puns that have been floating around the Internet or whatever, you dig? And you must be willing to donate it free of charge, no strings attached.

Gotta hit the highway, kids. Be groovy.

I would like to see the following...two kids using spoons to fling the contents of thyme spice jars at each other, obviously having a ball. And on the bottom it would be labeled "Thyme flies when you're having fun".

I'm unemployed right now, but I used to be a spokesman for a bicycle factory. Before that I was a branch manager at a tree farm and chairman of the board at a lumber yard.

My best job ever was as a highway designer. I tore down billboards.

Hey, here's an idea: have a picture of a bell ringer talking to the cops with a smashed up car in the background and say "he was saved by the bell" because in the ringer's hand is his bell. so yeah.

I can't be the only one who pondered what an "Om" t-shirt could possibly have to do with entrapment of a man.

Or can I?

I usually cringe pretty hard with too many puns, but this one keeps bouncing around in my head:

A mash up of the 3 Stooges and Peter Paul and Mary, titled "Peter Paul & Larry.

HAHAHAHA.... ahhhhhhh. Well, it's somewhat less funny now that it's written down.

I've been looking for someone to draw this for years:

Snooty maire'd, speaking to a native American in full feathered headdress, etc. who looks very annoyed: "Do you have a reservation?"

@Penny, I had the exact same thought about the "man trap."

@BassManPDX: Thanks for the smile today. That was f**king hilarious.

Camelid puns:

"Llama getting hungry. Guanaco eat? Alpaca lunch!"

"Aw, vicuña ask me earlier? I just ate!"

Ok, a buddy of mine just came up with another one, so here I am dredging old posts.

Two frames, the first depicts Emo Phillips, the second is Emo Emo Phillips, same picture of him, but wearing a black shirt.
