I've discovered a new daily blog that has really caught my attention. There are only four things I read daily, this has joined the list. If you like this one, go here for a daily dose: http://deadpaninc.blogspot.com/

Yes, this is funny.
My solution to this debate is:
1. Pass a law that defines the word "fingerhopperdoodle" as the result of going though a wedding ceremony.
2. Pass another law that replaces the word marriage or any version of it to "fingerhopperdoodle" in all existing laws.
3. Then say that no one is legally married anymore they are "fingerhopperdoodled". And that any couple who are "fingerhopperdoodled" together have the same legal rights as anyone else.
4. However, if you want to say you are married you can, but legally no one is.
some cats are black
pretty funy
always on the hunt for a good read and/or listen, and they seem so hard to find. good one, thx.
i guess this is what happens when the majority has an opinion that is politically incorrect. accept it. society sets its own standards, and this is the standard that has been set. legally.
LMAO!!
I was actually thinking of this scenario just the other night and my internal argument process went a lot like their conversation. Kind of creepy.
Hey if you're interested in good blogs, you should read this one.. I'm an up and coming illustrator, and try to update it daily with images and hilarious anecdotes also! It's
sambrookins.blogspot.com
You're welcome.
So what are the three other blogs you read daily?
This was so off the wall that I felt right at home. Too Cool. Nice catch, Mr. Piraro
Sheila-
Human slavery was legal and accepted in our society, as were laws based on racism until the civil rights movement. "Legality" didn't make those practices any more just than discrimination based on sexual orientation.
Sam-
Checked out your blog and love your cartoon sketches. Very nice!
Erik-
All the blogs I read daily are humor and cartoon based: http://mediumlarge.wordpress.com/,
http://nightdeposits.blogspot.com/,
http://joshreads.com/,
http://www.doublefine.com/news.php/comics/sc/
My favorite non-humor blog is http://www.vegan.com/
piraro, that same argument could be made for any law on the books. your statement gives no more legitimacy to the prop 8 argument than it does murder. so you might want to rethink your point.
The Comics Curmudgeon is great. Always wondered how Bizarro flies under their radar...
Hey Dan. Thanks for the shout-out. Very cool. I owe you one.
I'll keep quiet about your pirate book/pirated Arabian tanker connection.
Sheila,
I polled a group of non-bigots and the majority said that both your comment and response to Dan's comment were inane and uninformed. Majority rules, yay!
We have an appeals court system that -- ideally -- serves to protect a minority from a tyrannical majority. Or, in this case, a bunch of out of state religious zealots who dumped millions into an ad campaign chock full of lies and scare tactics. So, when faced with discrimination, the person or group doesn't have to just "accept it."
superhero spouse,
were you trying to be funny? please let us all know so we can be sure to laugh next time. last time i checked, democracies are ruled by the majority. sorry if you were misinformed.
by the way, the bullying you and your fellow prop 8 protesters are attempting to engage in is sad. you can bow before the political correctness gods, because otherwise no one would know or care you were protesting.
