A Buzkill Of Vegans

Rob Cottingham wrote in a comment on my Theological Humor post that he was thrilled that I linked to his "anger" image. I'm guessing he means the pic linked to the words "piss me off," but I can't be totally sure. He left me a link to his cartoon blog site and I found the above cartoon, which I think is hilarious. It's exactly the sort of thing me and my vegan friends would ask and it made me laugh out loud. Thanks, Rob.

Convertibles rule, that cartoon shows exactly what some of my vegan friends habitually ask us to do when posing for photos: "Say soycheese!" I won't be caught dead saying that (though I'll gladly eat it), because from primary school photos ("Say your name") I know what happens when they snap you on the wrong letter. (In my case, it was "AAAA!") A group of vegans getting caught on the "o" of soy would look pretty silly in a photo :)) So I don't particularly object to anyone just saying "cheese", even though it's really nothing to smile about. As long as they know what they'd be doing to cows and calves if they were eating it... Mind you, that doesn't necessarily work, either. Imagine a group photo with everyone saying "Ch!" (Do I hear a cow say "Serves them right"?)

You're going to get complaints if you keep on hotlinking. You might want to just gank the images and upload them into Blogger. Then copy the link to the full image out of the uploaded code, and erase the code.

Make sense?
