SUNDAY PUNNIES
(To see this picture get big, click on Vincent's Nose)
I usually post cartoons on this blog a week after they've appeared in the paper, but today's cartoon is LIVE. Yes, unbelievable as it may be, the cartoon you see here is the exact one that appears in papers all over the world right this second! Thank you, Thomas Edison!
This Sunday Punny is #8 in the series (click here to see earlier ones!) If YOU have a pun that is original and interesting, leave it in the comments section of this blog and you may see it in the next edition of Bizarro's Sunday Punnies! You may notice that in the bottom right corner of each of these frames is the name of the reader who sent in the pun. At this very moment, George, Devine and Barry are being carried through their neighborhoods on the shoulders of worshiping crowds to be crowned as supreme ruler of all they survey for life. This could be your future if you've got an interesting pun!
And thanks to George, Barry and Devine for making this particular Sunday so golldarn special!

Cool Puns,
First time I got them all. Thanks.
Debbie
Yes, it would be live for me if my newspaper, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, included more than four pages of sunday comics. (Or at least just the good ones, like Bizarro).
Took me a while to find the eyeball.
To all those who've left puns for my consideration, I've not published any of them here, whether I'm going to use them or not, because it's against my nature to tell a gag before it's published.
By the way, anything submitted now wouldn't show up in newspapers until October.
Thanks for your submissions, a few good ones in there!
Huh?! Thomas Edison link brought up picture of Mark Twain. Do some of Edison's patents have anything to do with photography?
Is the "Thomas Edison" link supposed to take us to a picture of Mark Twain? Do I just not get the joke?
Mr Piraro, i love this edition of Sunday Punnies. awesome work!
Hey Dan, can I email oyu if I have anidea and want to include a lil thumbnail sketch??
Very "punny"!
And you just know that Vincent WOULD be a goth kid if he was around these days. His severed ear would be full of silver and onyx ankh-shaped earrings and it would on a chain around his neck.
@ Linus and Becky...
The "Edison" link led to Mark Twain, the "George" link led to Albert Einstein, the "Devine" link led to Thomas Edison, and the "Barry" link led to Frederick Douglas: all old men with white hair from a long time ago. I just think that sort of thing is funny somehow. :O)
@Rusthate...yes, email me. My address is on Bizarro.com
Nice to meat you, Mr. Piraro. These are good puns.
Here's one that's been rattling around in my head for a while:
Said the Queen of the Ostriches: "We are not emus!"
