Auction Art for Charity
The original ink drawing of this cartoon is on eBay for a charity auction right now. Currently, the price is WAY below what I charge for my drawings, so if you're into this kind of thing, have a look.
@KiltBear...the commercials were pretty lackluster this year. The Letterman commercial was the only one that made me laugh.
@DavidR...Thanks a lot for the kind review!
@doug nicodemus...thanks for your regular commentary and readership. The charity is a fundraiser for a fellow cartoonist whose family is having a major medical disaster which they cannot afford. Like me, most of us are not independently wealthy, unfortunately. :)
Too broke to bid, but I'm cheering from the sidelines! Rob is right--most of the money roars into play at the last minute. Here's hoping you raise a bundle.
This is the perfect antidote for those overbearingly macho-blank-head commercials during the superbowl. Thank you!

Do a cartoon on sarah plain reading off her hand!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry... all the action on eBay happens in the last 5 minutes of the auction (despite their best efforts to prevent it).
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog, I've been a long time reader. I love your work! and your taste in hats.
