jason, You're right, you can see the cops waiting down the street, so this segment was faked. However, on closer comparison I see it is not the same scene as the Chevy commercial. It's a different sidewalk and the robber doesn't fall down as he jumps over the hood. My guess is the ad agency copied this clip for the Chevy commercial. Thanks for that url.
